We will share some of our favorite links here, but to be honest, we have compiled a 90+ page directory detailing everything you need to know about the condo (how to operate the washer/dryer, how to use the 6 burner stove, turning on the oven, etc), plus medical needs, shopping, restaurants, Gringo hangouts, and tons more. We will not recreate the wheel here when you can 'read all about it' at your leisure and in print while relaxing in the CCCC (Si, Si, Si, Si) condo.

Food Products

Popacuchu
If you don't feel like cooking some night and you are here over a weekend, we give a 5 star recommendation to Michele at Popacuchu. Michele sends out a menu on Sunday of what she will cook the following week. Deliveries ($2) or pick-up is on Saturday. Everything we have tried is fabulous and we order often when we are here. Send her an e-mail for her menu. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Deb & Dawn at Double D's Delights
These ladies bake up a storm, plus they have great meatballs and other appetizers. We have tested more than several of their offerings from two different lists. Being a repeat customer is why we recommend them. They are close by, so there is no delivery charge for orders. Send them an e-mail at This email address is being protected from spambots. Cuenca Bagels
If you are longing for a good NJ bagel, give Rich Westcott a try at Cuenca Bagels. There are many varieties to choose from and with a frequent buyer program, you may become a regular. Not only do we order from Rich while we are here, we freeze a bag to bring back to Budapest, where bagels are not nearly as good.
You can browse and order online or call in your order.

Travel Apps for Smartphones

Maps
Map.me downloads the map onto your phone, which makes it a treasure when you are not connected to the Internet or WiFi. The Cuenca app is great.
Free: Android Play Store and Apple App Store

Local Transportation
Moovit not only shows you the routes you need for getting from point A to point B, but it also tells you the approximate time of arrival of the vehicle. This is Internet connection dependent, but we have found once you do your search, the application will continue to work once you leave an Internet area. https://www.moovitapp.com/

Translator
If you need a translator/facilitator, we have come to love Diana Vera at Windows Live Team. She charges a very reasonable $10 an hour, but is quick and efficient. She has come to our rescue several times after we heard about her from innumerable friends.
