Cooking in your home away from home can really save on travel expenses, but there are times when you just want something special to make your own gourmet adventures tickle the tongue with pleasure. Our full assortment of cooking utensils, will be a tremendous help, but these vendors will certainly add some pizzazz. This list is also in print in our Cozy Colonial Cuenca Condo Directory with over 85 pages of information to make your stay the best possible.
Hence, we want to aid those people we appreciate, in getting a head start by promoting them here. We are not receiving any compensation or promotional gifts for listing them. They are here because we believe in their talents.
*Please note that since our return to Cuenca, we have found a number of our favorite cooks have either quit the food business or left the city.
Everyone here speaks English and they are listed in alphabetical order. Food items are first, followed by beer.
Bone-Ito Bone Broth
Organic, Gluten-Free and Paleo
Matthew Hart and Debby Paculaba Degamo
Quite honestly, we have seen Matthew at other food fairs, but never stopped at his booth. After reading so many glowing recommendations about Bone-Ito’s products, when we saw Matthew and Debby at the fair again, we had to stop (2018).
After sampling some gyoza dumplings, we had to buy some. They did not last the hour. We immediately went to sit by the river to picnic on our snack. Honestly, I could have eaten a dozen more they were so good. Besides organic bone broth, they offer eggrolls, lumpia, gyoza dumplings, and other Filipino food. For dessert, try their cinnamon rolls. And guess what, they deliver!!

We have purchased and tasted just about everything that these ladies make and we love it all. They are continually adding to their list of goods that it is impossible to list their menu. That said, their basic offering are shown on their Facebook page (http://bit.ly/DoubleDsDelights), but do not hesitate to ask for something special. They love to be creative and adventuresome.
